Questions
Yes. Alongside doors and windows we build crown, casing and base, paneling and wainscot, stair rails and balusters, brackets, columns and gates, all drawn and milled to order in our shop.
Yes. Send a short sample, a tracing or a photo with a ruler beside it. We draft the profile and grind custom knives to reproduce it exactly, in any species and in runs as short as a single room.
Mass-produced vinyl units typically need replacing within decades. Properly joined, hand-glazed wood windows with Low-E glass can be maintained and repaired for a century or more, and they keep the character of the house.
Yes, and we welcome it. Send your plans, elevations or CAD files and we return detailed shop drawings for your approval before anything is cut. You get one point of contact from specification to delivery, a written schedule your builder can plan around, and joinery that arrives complete and ready to install. Your firm is credited on every project we publish.
Every door, window and piece of joinery is built to order, so each unit is subject to its own lead time based on the complexity of the job: the size, the design and joinery, the wood and glass chosen, and our shop schedule. A single door or a run of molding moves faster than a full house of windows and doors. We give you a written schedule with every quote, and production begins once shop drawings are approved.
Mahogany, white oak, Douglas fir, longleaf and reclaimed heart pine, among others. We favor sustainably harvested and reclaimed lumber wherever the project allows.
Yes. Every order is built in our Atlanta shop and shipped crated, ready to set, to projects across the United States. Send drawings, measurements and photos from anywhere and we return a scale drawing and a written price.
Price depends on size, design, wood, glass and hardware. Send us your opening and the design you have in mind, and we will return a scale drawing and a written price at no charge.
Every piece we make is built to order, so odd sizes, arched heads and out-of-square openings are routine. We measure from your drawings or the opening itself.
