Custom Wood Windows · Atlanta, Georgia
Mass-produced vinyl units are made to be thrown away in 20 years. Our wood windows use the same joinery that has kept historic sash working for two centuries, with Low-E glass for modern efficiency.
Why Atlas windows last
We studied how windows up to 200 years old stayed weathertight, and we build every sash with that same tested joinery.
Every sash is glazed by hand for a durable finish that stands up to weather and can be serviced for the life of the window.
A new sash is only as good as its frame. We build full units: upper and lower sash, jamb assembly and casing, ready to set.

Every window is drawn for its opening, whether it comes from an architect's details or from measurements taken on site. You choose the wood, the glass and the light pattern, and we build it as sash only or as a complete unit with frame, sill and casing.
The Atlas catalog shows our standard sash patterns, glass options and how a weighted double-hung works, with design numbers you can reference when you request a drawing.

Yes. Tight traditional joinery, good weatherstripping and Low-E glass give performance that holds up for decades, and the window can be maintained instead of replaced.
If the frames are sound, yes. Where they've rotted, we recommend complete units so the new sash has a solid home.
Every window is built to order, so each unit has its own lead time based on the complexity of the job: its size, head shape and light pattern, the wood and glass chosen, and whether it ships as sash only or as a complete unit. We give you a written schedule with every quote, and production begins once shop drawings are approved.
