Custom Wood Doors, Built to Your Opening.
Entrance, interior and double doors, made to order in our Atlanta shop. Choose from twenty Victorian designs drawn from the 1880s millwork trade, six modern designs, or send us your own drawing.
Every door is built on a stave core with deep mortise-and-tenon joints, in mahogany, white oak, walnut or sapele, so it stays flat, square and quiet through decades of Southern heat and humidity. Send your opening and we'll return a scale drawing and a written price, at no charge.
How we build
A Door Is Only as Good as Its Joints.
Stave-Core Construction
Exterior rails and stiles are built from glued staves sandwiched between hardwood veneers, so they stay stable through heat, humidity and storms.
Mortise & Tenon Joinery
Every exterior door is mortised on our 1945 Wysong & Miles mortiser. Interior doors use proven cope-and-stick joinery.
Responsible Materials
From reclaimed beams to ethically harvested hardwoods, we choose lumber with its source in mind.
